In action for Mersin since 1987

As young people, we serve, learn and become friends. We keep every day of a journey that is now almost forty years long right here.

More than a club

The Rotaract Club of Mersin was founded on 1 January 1987. After a record of successful work, it received its Charter from Rotary International in 1988 and became an official member of the worldwide Rotaract family.

With a history of nearly forty years, our club stands out not only for its projects but for the culture of friendship it has built over the years. Our past presidents and members still come together with the same warmth and loyalty, because for us Rotaract is not just a club; it is a family for life.

Our meetings

Twice a month: Radisson Otel, Rotary Evimiz

Membership is not just a pin

You start by getting to know us. What we ask of prospective members:

  1. 1

Attend 4 club meetings in a row.

  2. 2

Host an Ocakbaşı gathering at your home.

  3. 3

Run a project from start to finish, or actively support an ongoing project in the field.

  4. 4

After our board's review, join the Mersin Rotaract family.

For us, membership is not just a pin; it stands for trust, effort and belonging. That is why we never accept as a member anyone we could not welcome into our home.
