5th Ocakbaşı Gathering of the Term — Hosted by Emre Güçlü

On 22 February 2026, we held the term’s 5th Ocakbaşı gathering, kindly hosted by our club member Emre Güçlü.

We got the day off to a lovely start with warm conversation. We thank Emre Güçlü for his kind hospitality and all our friends who joined us.

We also handed out marteniçka bracelets, which symbolize the arrival of March, and made our wishes. This meaningful tradition became even more special when Arya — the daughter of Rtn. Emrah Akdağ, Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Mersin, and Hazel — gifted us marteniçkas she had made with her own hands. We sincerely thank them for these kind and lovingly made gifts. Wishing you a spring full of hope, hearts full of beauty, and plenty of storks to see…
