Career Day Project

With the aim of supporting young people in their career journeys, preparing them for professional life and raising awareness of international education opportunities, we successfully held our Career Day Project on 10 October 2026. Organized in collaboration with the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Career Center, Garaj Mersin, Kampüs Mersin, American Life Language Schools and ELT Overseas Education, our project welcomed 28 university students.

Throughout the program, we aimed to equip students with knowledge about preparing English CVs, creating LinkedIn profiles, developing portfolios and writing cover letters, applying to universities abroad, postgraduate study and scholarship opportunities, and international language proficiency exams such as TOEFL and IELTS. To that end, we gave each participating student a career kit we had prepared.

Completed through the hard work of our club members from the preparation stage to the day of the event, the contributions of our stakeholders and the participation of our students, this project turned our goal of supporting young people’s career development into concrete action. We wholeheartedly thank Career Center Director Serkan Özada, Garaj Kampüs, American Life Language Schools and Semih Can Kap, who worked alongside us on this project, as well as Tolga Değirmenci for his Academic Career presentation and Buğra Fakıoğlu for his presentation on Working Abroad, Interviews and CV Preparation.
