870th Meeting — Guest: Bülent Halisdemir on Environment and Waste

On 8 October 2025, we held our club’s 870th meeting, the 4th of our term. We shared the latest updates on our ongoing projects and reflected on the work we have completed so far.

Our guest speaker, Mr. Bülent Halisdemir, Head of the Environmental Protection and Control Department at Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, told us about the environmental and waste management projects in our city. We sincerely thank him for his valuable presentation.

In recognition of his contribution, we presented him with a Polio donation made in his honor. We thank Mr. Halisdemir for being with us, and all our friends who joined the meeting.

We also launched our “7 Focuses, 7 Books” project: each month, we will read books related to one of Rotaract’s seven areas of focus and exchange ideas. In this way, we will strengthen Rotaract’s core values and multiply kindness through the unifying power of books.

Here’s to meeting again at many more gatherings where we unite for good!
