Visiting Muazzez İlmiye Çığ

We paid a home visit to Turkish Sumerologist and Assyriologist Muazzez İlmiye Çığ and had a truly delightful, eye-opening conversation.

On behalf of the Rotaract Club of Mersin:

It is an honour for us to have met and talked with Muazzez İlmiye Çığ, who has shed light on all societies, who has set an example for us with her knowledge, her questions and her search for answers, and who will go on to inspire many more young people, and to be able to pass on the values we gained here to those around us. Thank you so much.
